1) Pizza guy saves a kidnapped woman

A man’s plan to kidnap a woman and drag her to a remote cabin apparently didn’t include feeding himself or his hostage, as he had to interrupt his assault to order an extra-large supreme pizza from 30 miles away.

When Chris Turner arrived with the order, he noticed a woman behind the couch with her wrists bound. As her captor was signing the receipt, she mouthed to Chris to call 911. Instead of freaking out or letting the captor know that he was on to him, Chris “Ice Man” Turner left the house and drove to another house to use the phone. 

20 minutes later the man had been arrested and was later charged with aggravated rape and kidnapping. 

2) Beverage deliverer morphs into an action hero, saves woman

Brian Berry was on his beverage delivery route when he noticed an SUV swerving in his rear-view mirror. The driver was clearly suffering from some kind of medical emergency and her car was bouncing off the median. Berry pulled over, leaped out of his truck, and ran after the SUV. While trying to avoid being smashed against the barrier, he tried to get it on the passenger side but the handle broke off. He then somehow managed to get around to the driver’s side where he got a foot on the brake and eventually brought the vehicle to a stop.


3) FedEx driver saves an elderly couple from being scammed out of thousands of dollars

FedEx driver Dan McCoy is veteran package deliverer, so when he went to pick up a package from an elderly couple’s home he knew that something was fishy. He could have just minded his own business and stayed out of it, but something about the man’s demeanor and the lack of a proper account number raised Dan’s suspicions. After phoning up the package recipient, he overheard something about how the couple’s son was going to be sent to prison unless they sent $12k to the police through FedEx. 


4) Publix driver saves a woman from drowning

Delivery driver Rod Retna had just begun his 4 am a delivery shift when he came across a car that was crashed up against the guardrail. Retna stopped and called it into the police. While he was on the phone, he heard a woman shouting from the canal. Retna jumped in and pulled the woman to safety, then resumed his deliveries in his wet clothes. 


5) Dominos saves the regular customer 

Kirk Alexander really, really likes Domino’s pizza. So much in fact that he had ordered a pizza every damn day for 10 years. When he didn’t place an order for several days, one of the managers knew that something was wrong and sent one of their drivers to do a wellness check. Kirk’s TV and lights were on but he wouldn’t respond to the door. The driver then called the authorities who broke down the door and found Kirk suffering from a medical emergency. Fortunately, they were able to get him to the hospital and save his life.

UPS driver Jeremy Brandt was making his rounds when he saw smoke pouring out of a house. He had to bang on the door to wake up the homeowner who was able to escape out the front with his child. Then while Brandt held the baby, the owner opened the gate to let the dog out as well.
